Participate in this on-demand activity to learn and apply skills in acceptance-based behavioral therapies (ABBTs). Acceptance-based behavioral therapies include dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. ABBTs are effective in both reducing symptoms and promoting quality of life in a wide range of clinical conditions, including generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). This webinar is ideal for professionals and practice settings across mental health, primary care, nursing, social work, psychology, and more.

Dr. Roemer will outline an evidence based ABBT model for understanding GAD and review clinical strategies to target the central elements of this model, mindfulness exercises, strategies to decrease experiential avoidance, methods to clarify values and promote valued action, and much more.
