Course Details

Registration Deadline: August 19, 2024

This four-part course focuses on CBT for anxiety disorders. The course begins with an overview and introduction to three “patients” who are then followed in three additional sections. Each patient highlights a core component of CBT. The first section focuses on cognitive skills, exemplified through a patient struggling with social anxiety disorder. The second section focuses on behavioral interventions such as behavioral and interoceptive exposure for a patient with panic disorder. Finally, joining these skills together, the last section focuses on mindfulness in CBT for generalized anxiety. Throughout each section expert clinicians will demonstrate, via role-plays, the application of these skills through the three “patients”.

Course materials are available beginning on August 5, 2024, and all online course work must be completed by September 16, 2024. New course assignments are released each week, and you can finish the preceding week’s materials at any time to unlock the next week’s materials.
